Dental Assistant Career Outcomes

About This Program

At UEI you’ll learn dental assisting in labs designed and equipped to be just like real dental offices. This program prepares students for an entry-level dental assisting position. All of the tools and techniques are the same ones currently used in the industry.

In as few as 10 months you’ll learn and practice the key clinical, radiographic (X-ray), and preventive dental procedures that dental offices expect their assistants to know. You’ll be trained in clinical, radiographic and preventive dentistry procedures. At the end of the program, you’ll complete 170 hours of on-the-job training in an externship with a local potential employer.
