About This Program
At UEI we believe that real career training can’t be attained from just sitting in a classroom. That’s why you’ll also get lots of hands-on time with the tools and techniques of your new career in a classroom and laboratory environment on campus setting feel like the real environments where you might work when you graduate.
During the program, you’ll learn how to use computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Intuit QuickBooks. You’ll familiarize yourself with important business skills like marketing, human resources, and customer service. You’ll also get a basic knowledge in day-to-day processes like accounting, communication, and organization. To complete your education, you’ll receive 200 hours of on-the-job training in an externship for a local employment partner to develop your skills further.
